FibreIRS Optical Satellite and Terrestrial Signal Kit OTx 1310
Introducing Global Invacom's new OTx optical kit. This OTx KIT is fully compatible with all past and present FibreIRS devices and has been designed with future compatibility in mind.
This kit replaces the functionality of the optical LNB and ODU32 transmitter. The transmitter converts one satellite position together with DVB-T/T2 or DVB-C signal into a single fiber optic cable, enabling operation over longer distances with very low losses.
Input signal from LNB Wide Band
OTx has 3 inputs, 2 of which are dedicated to satellite signals. This is not enough for a quattro converter, but that's why Global Invacom focused on the use of a Wide Band broadband converter where you can put VH and VL on one coax and HH and HL on the other.
When using a broadband LNB, only 2 cables are needed from the satellite dish to the OTx, ultimately saving on coax.
Terrestrial signal input
In addition to the ability to work with satellite signals, there is also an input specifically for terrestrial signals, such as DVB-T/T2, DVB-C or DAB+ signals. Please note that the frequency range in which this system operates is 88 MHz – 694 MHz.
Optical cable
This system works with single-mode cables, such as the FibreIRS line.
Wavelength 1310nm
With a wavelength of 1310nm, the set can provide a signal up to max. 32 Quad or Quatro optical receivers using optical splitters.
