Universal standards
The interface of the card is a PCI Express connector. This model supports the most popular wireless standards: IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b. Thanks to the use of such universal standards, the card is compatible with most PCs and network devices available on the market.
Stable, fast and efficient operation
Thanks to the IEEE 802.11n standard, the card allows data transmission rates up to 150Mb/s. This ensures very high work efficiency, enabling fast downloads from the network, seamless video calls over the Internet, smooth HD video streaming and VoIP calls.
Safety and security
The card supports both WEP and WPA/WPA2 encryption standards. This enables advanced network protection and complete protection against threats and attacks from outside the network. It also allows you to connect securely to your network with Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). WPS simplifies wireless setup and simplifies the selection of appropriate security measures on the local network.
Simple operation
The adapter comes with an installation wizard CD to configure wireless network settings, such as wireless settings and data security. This makes it easier to operate the device even for novice users.
Easy network connection with WPS
TL-WN781ND's WI-FI Protected Setup™ (WPS) function allows you to easily establish secure connections protected by WPA encryption. This solution is not only faster compared to the traditional configuration, but also much more convenient (you do not need to remember any password).
Detachable antenna
TL-WN781ND uses an antenna to provide better transmission performance. Depending on external conditions, it is possible to adjust the direction of transmitting and receiving its signals. For more demanding applications, the antenna of the device can be replaced by an antenna with higher energy gain. This will increase the wireless transmission range of the access point.
CE Certificate
Directives of the European Union concerning issues related to safety of use, health protection and environmental protection. By marking his product with the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that the product meets the requirements of all these directives.
FCC Certified
Certified by the U.S. Agency for the Use of Radio Frequencies for Communications. The purpose of the agency is to keep order in the field of radio, telecommunications and all forms of television.
RoHS Certificate
EU directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) from 2003. Refers to the restriction of the content of harmful materials (e.g. lead, mercury, cadmium) in electronic devices.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
The technology was created under the supervision of an international association that cares about the standardization of wireless devices - the WiFi Alliance organization. WPS makes it easy to set up your wireless connection and its security. Products equipped with WPS function are easier to configure and choose the appropriate security for the local network. For WPS to be enabled, both devices that work together must be WPS compatible.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is a group of standards for the construction and use of wireless computer networks. Wi-Fi is used both to build local area networks (LAN) based on radio communication, i.e. WLAN, as well as to build wide area Internet networks (WAN), which, thanks to the location of access points (hotposts), allow wireless access to the network. The transmission takes place on two channels simultaneously in the frequency band from 2400 to 2485 MHz (2.4 GHz) or 4915 to 5825 MHz (5 GHz). Wi-Fi-compatible products have the appropriate logo on them.
