2.4GHz & 5GHz Dual Band Omni-Band Omni-Band Antenna Poynting OMNI-706 5.5dBi
The OMNI-706 is a dual-band omnidirectional Wi-Fi antenna developed by Poynting. The antenna's range covers the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands, which ensures excellent use of the radio spectrum. The antenna has a maximum gain of 4 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 5.5 dBi in the 5 GHz band, which ensures better performance with reliable connections. The antenna has been designed with excellent pattern control over the entire frequency range, making the OMNI-706 a unique directional antenna for its size. The OMNI-706 antenna can be connected to any Wi-Fi access point, whether it is older Wi-Fi technology or new dual-band Wi-Fi technology. The antenna can therefore be used to solve the problem of channel saturation and provide the highest Wi-Fi performance and flexibility. This means that the antenna can also be used for point-to-point connections where there is a lot of RF noise and so-called cluttered surroundings. The rugged housing design provides protection in adverse environmental conditions with IP 69K and IK 10 protection. The antenna has a N-female connector at the base, which can be connected to the desired type and length of cable.

Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)
VSWR is a measure of radio frequency power efficiency transmitted from a power source through a transmission line to a payload. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to VSWR 1:1. The OMNI-706 delivers excellent performance on all bands with VSWR 2:1 or better on the entire band.
* VSWR measured without cable
* gain in dBi
4 dBi is the peak gain in all bands from 2400 – 2500 MHz
*Antenna gain measured using a standard aligned to the antenna's polarization
