The warning triangle provides visibility from a distance of up to 200 meters. Its task is to inform oncoming drivers about a breakdown or collision, as well as about the need to exercise extreme caution. It is a mandatory element of equipment of every car in Poland, its absence is threatened by a penalty fine.
