PRL FSO POLONEZ TAXI- Green
The history of the Polonez begins at the end of 1972. A successor to the 125p model was planned to be introduced. In 1974, an agreement was signed between Pol-Mot and the Italian FIAT concern, which stipulated that the Italian side would be entrusted with the design work. In the same year, design work began at Centro Stile Fiat. The first prototypes of the car marked as 125PN (Polacco Nuova - Polish New) were created in 1975.
The name was chosen as a result of a plebiscite of readers of "Życie Warszawy" in 1978. The new hatchback body was distinguished by its modern aesthetics and a high level of safety for the time.
