PowerWalker VFD 600 APFC* is a Standby/Off-line UPS for home or office, working with APFC technology.
Usually, with computer power supplies for gamers (power supplies with APFC technology), it is recommended to choose twice the size of the UPS as indicated by the power supply. Otherwise, the computer may restart if there is no power supply from the mains, even if it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply. This UPS was created with gamers in mind to ensure their continuous operation in the event of a power failure.
Equipped with 6 sockets with grounding pin (PL/FR), with surge protection on all sockets, including 4 with battery backup, this UPS is ideal for home or office use.
The appearance of the UPS similar to the appearance of a standard power strip allows it to be placed where a standard UPS is not practical. A special compartment for batteries allows the user to easily replace it without the need to involve an external service.
* APFC - This is a technology used in computer power supplies, used to improve its efficiency, adapting to the load of the power supply and the voltage in the electrical network.
APFC can be found in 90% of good power supplies,
The difference between APFC and PPFC. APFC adapts with its correction to the demand, e.g. the power supply has 500W, but consumes 150W, because that's how much it currently needs. PPFCs are designed for a constant load - that is, if the power supply is 500W, it consumes 500W regardless of what power the computer uses.
