Modern broadband antenna dedicated to receive DVB-T/T2 digital TV signals. The 5G Protected version has implemented a very extensive bandwidth filtration that eliminates interfering off-band signals (5G, LTE 700, LTE 800, CDMA 450, GSM 1800, etc.). These off-band signals (especially those coming from masts and phones) can cause overdrive of preamplifiers and other active elements. By using the ASR IQ 5G Protected antenna, we protect DVB-T/T2 reception from the influence of those that hinder the reception of signals.
The antenna has a high energy gain (>14dBi) and a built-in ultra low-noise preamplifier (>20dB), which can be powered by voltage in the range of 5-12V (e.g. TV or DVB-T/T2 receiver).
A low level of self-noise of the first gain stage is very important for obtaining a good signal quality (large signal/noise ratio).
The 5G Protected version has an additional built-in by-pass. Not switching on the supply voltage in this antenna makes it work like a passive antenna.
