Professional thread repair kit M5-M12. Drills and taps are made of HSS 4341 high-speed steel. Single-stage taps cut the thread into which a spiral insert made of hard stainless steel is inserted. To insert the insert, there is a guide knob and a punch that breaks the protruding tip of the insert. The set is designed for 5 types of threads: M5 x 0.8 x 6.7 mm, M6 x 1.0 x 10.8 mm, M8 x 1.25 x 10.8 mm, M10 x 1.5 x 13.5 mm, M12 x 1.75 x 16.3 mm.

The set is designed for 5 types of threads:
- M5 x 0.8 x 6.7 mm,
- M6 x 1.0 x 10.8 mm,
- M8 x 1.25 x 10.8 mm,
- M10 x 1.5 x 13.5 mm,
- M12 x 1.75 x 16.3 mm.
Directions for use:
- Determine the size of the damaged thread, and then select a repair kit in the same size.
- Reaming the damaged thread with a drill from the set.
- Then thread it with the tap included in the kit. Tap should be embedded
in the knob designed for taps. The knob is not included in the kit.
- On the knob for spiral inserts, embed the cartridge so that the transverse part of the cartridge is in
knob slot. Then secure the cartridge with a ring so that it does not stretch
when screwing. Secure the ring with a screw.
- Screw the cartridge completely into the threaded hole. Pull out the knob. With a plug
break off the transverse part of the cartridge.
- Screw the screw into the repaired thread.
