Oniria. The land of the ancient civilisation of dragons. Legends depict it as a paradise rich in dragon masterpieces and abounding in lush vegetation. Perhaps it once was. Unfortunately, over the years Oniria has changed beyond recognition: it is on the brink of crisis and needs heroes to come to its aid. It can only be reached through a portal in the Book of Wonders, an ancient tome hidden in an abandoned tower. Covered in a thick layer of dust, the book waits for you to wake it from its slumber.
The Book of Wonders is a cooperative adventure game played on a spacious board in the form of a book full of wonders. Inside, adventures full of important decisions await you, and the choices you make, guided by the narrative on the pages, will make a huge difference to what happens to you in the following chapters. What ending will you choose for yourself and Oniria? Let yourself be swept up in the story and see what happens!
What is it about?
In The Book of Wonders you play as a group of adventurous teenage friends. It is a co-operative game, which means that we can only win together - or we all lose. The game consists of 6 consecutive scenarios called chapters.
There are 4 protagonists in this gripping story. Each of them has their own fighting style, stamina and special skill, which adds up to an individual style of play. During subsequent chapters we will unlock new skills.
The gameplay itself is based on an adventure, through which we are led by the decks of each chapter. Players will play out their actions, explore the board, use special abilities and fight the enemies that appear in order to complete their tasks and reach the end of this fantastic story!
