The principle of operation of the symmetrical electric strike OR-EZ-4036 is the opposite of that of the standard electric strike, i.e. continuous supply of voltage causes the hitch to block. The electric strike is equipped with a LOW-CURRENT coil with a wide voltage range, consuming a current of 280mA for 12V DC voltage and 250mA for 12V AC voltage.
