Performance and reliability
TL-SF1008P is equipped with 8x 10/100 RJ-45 ports for demanding office and home applications. Fanless design ensures quiet operation of the device.
Application of the product
TL-SF1008P PoE switch has 8 RJ45 ports with 10/100Mbps speed that does not require any configuration. 4 of them (1-4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The switch automatically detects IEEE 802.3af PD devices and supplies them with power. This allows you to extend the range of the network in places where there is no access to sockets or power lines, and where there is a need to place access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.
Principle
The switch has 8 RJ45 ports with auto-negotiation function. 4 of them (1-4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The switch automatically detects IEEE 802.3af PD devices and supplies them with power.
Overload prevention
The switch has a prioritization function* to protect the system in times of overload. The power consumption of devices powered by PoE is up to 57W. Devices connected to higher priority ports are powered first.
Port prioritization
Port priorities: port-1>port-2>port-3>port-4. This function protects the system in times of overload. For example, ports 1.2 and 4 draw 15.4W each (the maximum value for the port is 15.4W), then the system uses 46.2W (the PoE LED will light up red). If a 12W download device is connected to port 3, the system will cut off the power supply from port 4. Port 1 and 2 will therefore be powered by 15.4W, port 3 - 12W, while port 4 will be disconnected from the power supply.
Simple operation
TL-SF1008P is easy to install and use. No configuration or assembly required. With reliability and high quality transmission, TL-SF1008P 10/100M 8-Port Desktop Switch with four PoE ports is ideal for expanding your home or office network.
