Filament PLA MATT
Spectrum PLA MATT is a PLA-based material whose chemical composition has been modified to allow matte print surfaces. The matt appearance of the manufactured elements significantly increases their aesthetics, and also minimizes the visibility of layers on the side surfaces of the manufactured elements.
In addition, the material retains all the features of classic PLA-based polymers. Additional use of admixtures resulted in improved impact strength and reduced brittleness of manufactured elements
Temperature resistance: 75°C PLA MATT filament
Material density: 1.24 g/cm3
Printing temperature: 185-215°C
Bed temperature 0-45°C
Printing speed: 40-110 mm/s

Technical Details
Key features:
- made of biodegradable raw materials
- high quality matt side surface with hardly visible layers
- increased adhesion between layers and between the working platform of devices and manufactured elements
- improved strength properties in terms of impact strength, elasticity and durability compared to elements made of classic PLA
- high rigidity of elements
- higher temperature resistance (75°C) compared to standard PLA
- no shrinkage after cooling
Use:
- interior design and decoration
- architectural models
- educational projects
- prototyping industrial designs to visualize the concept
The above-mentioned properties direct the use of Spectrum PLA MATT in applications related to the presentation of significant aesthetic values, i.e. in prototyping in industrial design in order to visualize the concept and present designer variants of given structures. In addition, these are applications related to interior decoration, as well as the execution of architectural mock-ups.
