Active cascade multiswitch Spaun 9/9 to 16 SMK 99169 FA
Cascade multiswitch is a device that allows to freely scale the size of the network by adding more devices. Individual multiswitches are connected in series by providing signals from the loop-through outputs. If no further expansion of the system is planned, the last device in the cascade is the end multiswitch. Signals from the tap outputs, in turn, are fed to the end sockets, subscribers. Cascade multiswitches can be placed on different floors of the building, which allows to significantly shorten the distance from the output of the multiswitch to the satellite receiver. Also in the event of a possible failure, the cascade multiswitch can be quickly removed from the system and replaced with an efficient device, so that the time of failure and its repair is limited to the necessary minimum.
