The game consists of players arranging their pawns on the board in such a way that pawns of the same colour, which are adjacent to each other on at least one side, form the largest possible area.
Each player is assigned one colour of pawns. The game starts with one player placing his pawn anywhere on the board and then the other player adds his pawn so that it is adjacent to the first opponent's pawn.
Then the players alternate placing their pieces until the board is full, trying to build the largest possible area of adjacent pieces of their own colour. While placing pawns the rule is that the added pawn must border at least one side with any pawn already on the board. It is not correct to place a pawn which touches another pawn only by its corner.
Placing several unconnected squares is allowed, but only squares with a minimum of 5 pieces count towards the final score. The game ends when all the squares on the board have been filled and all the pawns have been stacked.
NOTE: The stacking of a sequence of 5 pawns horizontally or vertically by any player during the game ends the game with his victory.
