The device fits most irrigation controllers, especially Hillvert models with part numbers 10090184, 10090187 and 10090188. One of three levels of soil moisture (25%, 45% and 60%) is set on the meter. When its actual level is higher than set, the sensor sends a signal to the controller to turn off the irrigation cycle. The measurement is made every 60 s. The cable for connection to the controller is resistant to weather conditions. LED lights make it easy to use. The desired humidity level is selected with the appropriate button, which signals that the diode is lit. If no changes are made within a minute, the control turns off by saving the setting.
