Material: stainless steel. Circular malleable-hard mandrel (54 HRC), with lasertip and microscopically rough surface. Reduced pressure prevents slipping from the screw head. Thanks to vacuum hardening, the bit has a hardness comparable to typical tools, which is why it is 100% suitable for use in workshops and is wear-resistant. With 3-component Kraftform-Plus handle, ergonomic, with integrated soft grip zones, hard grip zones for increased speed and hexagonal roll protection. In addition, the screwdrivers have an embossing with a drive and size symbol.
Use: Special product, protects against flash corrosion when machining stainless steel screws.

What is flash corrosion?
When stainless steel tools (e.g. screws) are machined with standard tools, they can leave particles firmly adhering on the stainless steel. These particles of ordinary steel can react with oxygen and form ugly-looking rust on non-corrosive stainless steel.
How to avoid flash corrosion?
By using machining tools also made of stainless steel and intended exclusively for machining stainless steel parts. Thanks to vacuum quenching, these tools have the necessary hardness and strength, so they can be used without restrictions.
