AOD-210 Dual Wireless Detector
The AOD-210 detector is designed to operate as part of a two-way wireless ABAX 2/ABAX system outdoors as well as indoors in protected areas with specific environmental conditions (e.g. halls). The detector complies with the requirements of EN 50131 Grade 2 (for indoor applications).
The use of two detection paths (PIR + MW), combined with advanced digital signal processing and dynamic temperature compensation, ensures effective motion detection. The device can also protect the approach zone and also perform the pet immunity function (up to 20 kg). The AOD-210 monitors the motion detection system and signals any malfunctions. The detector is characterised by high resistance to false alarms.
The AOD-210 has built-in sensors: temperature and twilight (with sensitivity adjustment), which allow it to be used in alarm systems with home automation without the need to install additional solutions. LED indicators indicate violations in test mode, facilitating the detector testing process.
Configuration of the device, as well as software updates, take place remotely. In the ABAX 2 system, radio communication is encrypted in the AES standard.
The detector has a polycarbonate housing (IP54 protection class), on which it is possible to mount the HOOD C (white colour) or HOOD C GY (grey colour) protective canopy. The design of the AOD-210 detector allows it to be mounted directly on a flat surface. If the unit is to be tilted, either vertically or horizontally, special brackets - angle or ball - from the set: BRACKET E, or BRACKET C (white) or BRACKET C GY (grey) should be used.
To increase the detector's distance from the wall, even by several centimetres, it is worth using the BRACKET E modular bracket. This will prevent the detector's detection area from being restricted by a cornice, external blind, cable tray, lamp, gutter or uneven wall.
The detector is equipped with sabotage protection, against opening and detachment from the ground.
