APMD-250 wireless motion detector
The APMD-250 wireless detector operates as part of a two-way ABAX 2/ABAX wireless system. The device is certified to EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements.
The APMD-250 uses two types of sensors for motion detection: infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW). The detector has a modern wide-angle lens. It is possible to replace the lens with a curtain lens (CT-CL) or a long-range lens (LR-CL). The use of an adjustable mirror also allows the detector's approach zone to be protected. The unit incorporates advanced digital signal processing, as well as dynamic compensation for changes in ambient temperature. The APMD-250 monitors the motion detection system and signals any malfunctions in its operation. The detector is characterised by high resistance to false alarms.
Configuration, as well as updating of the APMD-250 software, is carried out remotely. Radio communication within the ABAX 2 system is encrypted in the AES standard.
The detector is powered by a CR123A 3 V battery, the status of which is continuously monitored. The device is characterised by low power consumption. The available ECO option (only on ABAX 2) allows up to four times the operating time without having to replace the battery.
An LED indicator signals violations in test mode, facilitating the detector testing process.
The unit can be mounted on an adjustable ceiling/wall bracket. The detector has tamper protection against opening and detachment from the ground.
