Complementary feed for domestic birds. Germinated seeds and grains are an excellent alternative to seeds in the milky-wax phase, which make up the diet of birds in the wild. Compared to a regular seed mixture, germinated seeds are full of enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that can help prevent the effects of malnutrition.
How to prepare:
1. Remove the mesh from the plastic container and rinse the seeds thoroughly under warm running water. Then put the net back into the plastic container and pour water into it so that it completely covers the seeds. Do not be afraid to pour a little more water: the seeds will absorb some of the water during swelling. Leave the seeds at room temperature for 8-12 hours so that they soften and swell.
2. Remove the grid with swollen seeds from the plastic container and drain the remaining water. Rinse the seeds thoroughly under warm running water, then put the grid back into the container (without water). Loosely cover the container with a cap (so that the top layer does not dry out) and leave in a warm place for 8-12 hours.
3. Repeat the procedure described in point 2 every day for 3-5 days until the seeds germinate. The optimal length of seedlings - 1-4 mm.
