What does DMR mean?

DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) is a new standard that was introduced by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) for communications using digital signals.

DMR is a response to the growing requirements of companies and institutions regarding security and unwanted data leakage (information has the highest value). This solution enabled rapid expansion of the communication system, remote management, sending SMS messages, GPS positions, telemetry, encryption. Devices built for DMR communication have the ability to work in an analog system - this makes it easier to switch from one system to another.
