The fiber optic pigtail is designed for connecting distribution cables in distribution frames and is terminated on one side with ST/UPC connector. It is characterized by low attenuation and easy installation and operation of optical fiber, as well as high data transmission speed. The pigtail uses G652D single-mode fiber and an external non-flammable cable coating, which does not emit harmful gases (LSZH) during a fire. The signal in a single-mode fiber does not scatter, and the data stream is transmitted parallel to the axis and reaches the end of the fiber in one mode without reflections. Single-mode fibers are an ideal solution for fiber optic communication over long distances, because the signal can be transmitted without any amplification up to 100 km.
