Universal Modem Adapter for Poynting ADPT-24 Antennas
The adapter consists of a flat plastic pad with a 50 cm cable terminated with an SMA (female) connector. The plastic sleeve, which looks like a cell phone battery, contains a device that can be connected to a cell phone and redirected to a supporting antenna, thus providing better reception. The connector washer is placed on the top of the phone. (A small Velcro is included with the fitting, which can be used to ensure a safer connection to the phone.) Then connect the other end of the connector to one of our booster antennas using the SMA (female) connector. The booster antenna can be mounted outside the building and directed towards the nearest cellular base station to ensure good reception.
- Broadband frequency bands from 698-2700 MHz
- Slim and lightweight housing
- Robust construction
- Areas with a weak signal where there are little or no calls to mobile phones. antenna for better coverage and communication
- Ideal for farmers, summer cottages, resorts or anyone who needs communication in rural areas.
Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)*
VSWR is a measure of the efficiency of transmitting radio frequency energy from a power source through a transmission line to a load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to a VSWR of 1: 1, the ADPT-24 provides excellent performance in all bands with VSWR 3:1 or better on 80% of the bands.
