Wideband panel omnidirectional antenna Poynting PUCK-8 2X2 LTE (MIMO) 6 dBi, Wi-Fi 7.5 dBi
Poynting's new PUCK series offers small profile antennas for use in IoT/M2M, smart meters, smart utilities, transportation, shipping, and agriculture. Puck-8 consists of a 3-in-1 antenna system in one housing, equipped with 2×2 MIMO LTE and Wi-Fi (dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). 2x Cellular MIMO antennas (for 2G/3G/4G) support the band from 698MHz to 3800MHz, including the most popular international LTE bands. The antenna provides a dual-band Wi-Fi antenna offering simultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, supporting the 802.11ni 802.11ac / ax standard. PUCK outperforms the performance of many competitors thanks to the attention to the design of this high-performance antenna. The radiation patterns of all radiating elements provide an excellent balance between omnidirectionality, variety of patterns and good radiation abilities at the desired altitude, which is often overlooked in antennas of such small sizes. Despite its small size, this antenna provides excellent performance, especially in the higher frequency bands, where performance is critical to LTE bandwidth and connection stability. This antenna is designed so that both LTE ports are connected to the router/device to ensure the best performance. Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)*
VSWR is a measure of the efficiency of transmitting radio frequency power from a power source through a transmission line to a load.
In an ideal system, 100% of the power is transmitted, which corresponds to VSWR 1:1, PUCK-8 provides excellent performance on all bands with VSWR ≤2.5:1 over 85% of the bandwidth
Gain in dBi
6dBi is the peak gain in all bands from 698-960,1710-2700 and 3400-3800 MHz
7.5 dBi is peak gain in all 2400-2500 and 5000-5800 MHz bands
- Gain at 698-960 MHz: -1 dBi
- Gain at 1710-270 MHz: 6 dBi
- Gain at 3400-3800 MHz: 6 dBi
- Gain at 2400-2500MHz MHz: 1.2 dBi
- Gain at 5000-5800MHz MHz: 7.5 dBi
