Wideband panel omnidirectional antenna Poynting PUCK-1 6 dBi
Poynting's new PUCK series offers a small panel antenna for use in IoT/M2M, smart meters, smart tools, transportation, marine industry and agriculture. PUCK-1 is a SISO antenna, covering the band from 690 to 3800 MHz, which includes the most popular international LTE bands. PUCK outperforms the performance of many competitors thanks to the attention to the design of this high-performance antenna. The radiation characteristics of all radiating elements provide an excellent balance between omnidirectionality, variety of patterns and good radiation abilities at the desired altitude, which is often overlooked in antennas of such small sizes. Despite its small size, this antenna provides excellent performance, especially in the higher frequency bands, where performance is critical to LTE bandwidth and connection stability.
- LTE with high performance
- Support 2G/3G/4G/LTE (5G ready)
- Broadband reception - covers a wide frequency band, including the CBRS 3.5 GHz band
- Independent of the ground plane
- Robust, vandal-proof and waterproof (IP 68) housing
- Ideal for transportation, marine and IoT/M2M applications
- Ultra-veZAtile mounting options for easy installation
- Smart tools: smart metering of energy, gas and water
- Smart buildings: air conditioning control, access control, security, irrigation
- Industrial automation, robotic machines and other M2M systems
- Digital Signage
- Warehouses and logistics systems
- Transport (buses, utilities and public safety)
- Communication, telemetry and automation of mining vehicles and machines (M2M and IoT)
- Agricultural machinery
- Marine: small boats, yachts near coasts or internal waters
Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)*
VSWR is a measure of the efficiency of transmitting radio frequency power from a power source through a transmission line to a load.
In an ideal system, 100% of the power is transmitted, which corresponds to VSWR 1: 1, PUCK-1 provides excellent performance in all bands with VSWR ≤2.5: 1 over 85% of the bandwidth
Gain in dBi
6dBi is the peak gain in all bands from 698-960,1710-2700 and 3400-3800 MHz
- Gain for different bands: -1dBi @ 698-960MHz
- Gain for different bands: 6 dBi at 1710-2700 MHz
- Gain for different bands: 6 dBi at 3400-3800 MHz
