Panic button with a key PNK-1
The PNK-1 is a panic button used to immediately trigger an alarm or start the procedure of notifying a monitoring station of a situation of threat to life or property in a supervised facility. The device is used, among others, in places where robberies may occur, such as banking facilities, currency exchange offices, shops, wholesalers, offices.
The button works with any control panel supporting NC type detectors. Inside the PNK-1 there is a reed switch, the contacts of which are opened when the button is pressed. The device is equipped with a spring which causes the key to reverse after being pressed. This spring can be removed, obtaining a button with a mechanical memory of being pressed. In facilities where several panic buttons are installed, this solution makes it possible to identify the one that triggered the alarm. The button can be reversed to its home position using the supplied key.
- Immediate triggering of the alarm and/or activation of the procedure for notifying the monitoring station of an emergency situation at the protected site
