Plastic model Vickers Wellington Mk.IA/C 1/72
The twin-engined Vickers Wellington bomber entered RAF service with No. 99 Squadron at Mildenhall in October 1938. The production aircraft bore little resemblance to the prototype and was a plane that every potential enemy feared. The fuselage was relatively light and very strong. Although the construction method posed challenges to the companies producing the Wellington bomber, its inherent strength proved crucial when the aircraft was thrown into combat.
