Directional antenna Poynting XPOL-2-5G-03 (2x2 MIMO) 11 dBi | cable with SMA plug, 10m
XPOL-2-5G is the third generation of Poynting antennas from the cross-polarized series. The antenna housing actually looks the same as the second generation, but has been completely redesigned from the inside. Advanced metamaterial technology was used, using Artificial Magnetic Conductors (AMC) and a new registered/patent-pending heatsink configuration that is proving to provide exceptional bandwidth improvements and signal amplification. The radiation characteristics of this antenna are extremely well controlled, which further increases the efficiency of the antenna. The XPOL-2-5G antenna contains newer bands 3400-3800 MHz and 690-960 MHz, dedicated to 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. The antenna performs exceptionally well in the following frequency bands: 698-960 MHz, 1700-2700 MHz, 2300-2400 MHz (WiFi) and 3400-3800 MHz. In addition to the new bands, the gain in the 1700 MHz and 2.7 GHz range is about 3 dB higher than its predecessor in the same frequency bands! Already the second-generation antenna surpassed most of the competitors in these bands, so this significant improvement in gain shows the advantages of new, advanced materials and a novel radiator and heatsink design. So, if it was a car, we installed a completely new technological engine with twice the power under the hood - it may look the same, but wait until you turn on the ignition!

Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)*
VSWR is a measure of the efficiency of transmitting radio frequency power from a power source through a transmission line to a load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to a VSWR of 1:1.
Measured with a cable length of about 2m.
Gain in dBi
11 dBi is the peak gain for all bands from 698 to 3800 Mhz: the graph above on the right shows the gain in each of the operating ranges.
