The waterproof PoE+ extender from Cudy is a device that provides power extensions for network devices. Thanks to it, we can increase the range of the POE network without using an additional power source. Extender has two ports with a speed of 1 Gbps, so we have the ability to connect many devices without worrying about the speed of data transfer. This model allows you to power devices up to 30W. The Cudy Extender works on the Plug & Play principle, so it does not require additional configuration. The housing has holes to attach the device to the wall.
Power over Ethernet PoE - what is it?
Power over Ethernet (PoE for short) is a technology for transmitting power over an ethernet cable. Thanks to this, we can simultaneously power the device and ensure the exchange of information. PoE technology is especially popular for IP cameras, VoIP phones, Internet access points (Access Points) and POS terminals. Network devices using PoE are convenient to use, which is why they are liked by installers. Here we can use a switch that will simultaneously power the devices and send information from them.

The POE+ extender has Gigabit ports (10/100/100 Mbps) on the input and output. Thanks to this, you can get data transmission at the highest level. The device can also be mounted on the wall with screws. The Plug & Play function is very useful here - just connect the cables and tighten the sealing nuts.
