The multiswitch is designed for the expansion of the internal antenna system of the DVB-S2 satellite and DVB-T2 terrestrial television systems. The device allows you to receive programs from one satellite and connect up to 24 satellite tuners. Gold-plated sockets significantly reduce signal losses at the antenna cable connection and the absence of oxidation. The multiswitch automatically recognizes the type of signal that will be transmitted to the tuners.
The installation should include the connection of a multiswitch to a satellite dish with a diameter of not less than 0.8 m and a Quattro or Quad converter and a terrestrial TV antenna. The separation of satellite and terrestrial signals coming out of the multiswitch is carried out via the end subscriber outlets. Quattro, Quad converters and subscriber sockets are available in our store. The multiswitch is powered via an external power supply, thanks to which the phenomenon of increased operating temperature, which is a frequent cause of damage to the device, is eliminated.
When installing the device, it is necessary to take into account the existing installation conditions for the power supply:
- location away from the influence of weather conditions
- protection against access by outsiders
- adequate ventilation
