Motion sensor OPAL GY
OPAL is an outdoor dual motion detector that is ideal for use both outside the protected building and in interiors where difficult or specific environmental conditions prevail (e.g. in halls, sheds). The OPAL detector has been equipped with PIR and MW technologies, as well as an anti-masking function implemented by the microwave path. Dual technology in combination with the algorithm of self-adaptation of the detector to environmental conditions ensures high resistance to false alarms, and thus stable operation in difficult weather conditions, such as rain, snow, sunlight and strong gusts of air. The device offers correct operation in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +55°C, and changes in ambient temperature are automatically compensated.
The OPAL detector is characterized by a detection angle of up to 100 degrees and a range exceeding 15 meters. The area under the detector is also protected, thanks to which any attempt by an intruder to approach the device in order to damage or break it will be detected. In addition, the software of the OPAL series detectors has been developed so that the movement of small pets does not cause false alarms.
The housing of the device is also unique, for the production of which two-component injection technology was used. Thanks to this, a splash-proof construction with IP54 protection class was created, providing OPAL electronics with protection against harmful atmospheric phenomena. The detector housing is also characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to UV radiation. To further protect the device against precipitation and contamination, it is possible to mount a protective canopy HOOD C (white) or HOOD C GY (gray) on the housing.
The design of the OPAL detector allows it to be mounted directly on a flat surface. If the detector is to be tilted vertically or horizontally, special handles - angular or ball - from the sets: BRACKET E and BRACKET C (white) or BRACKET C GY (gray) should be used.
To increase the distance of the detector from the wall, even by several centimeters, it is necessary to use the BRACKET E bracket.
The OPAL detector is available in two color versions: white (OPAL) and gray (OPAL GY).
