Modeling clay is a high quality thermosetting plastic. It is perfect for creating models and mock-ups. You can also make small accessories from modeling clay: clips, brooches, key chains. Models can be made by hand or by squeezing patterns in molds. Hard modeling clay softens under the influence of hand heat. Models should be cured by heating in the oven at 100110C within 1520 minutes. Finished models smeared with vegetable oil acquire more vivid colors.
