Directional DVB-T antenna for terrestrial TV reception for MUX 8.
The professional directional antenna MCTV-855 is equipped with an LTE filter that eliminates interference from mobile networks providing high-speed Internet services in the 800 MHz band.
In recent years, several thousand stations supporting the LTE standard in the 800 MHz band have been built in Poland. The end of the TV band is located in the immediate vicinity of the LTE 800 MHz band. This may result in interference in the reception of digital terrestrial television. On the TV screen, the image may stop, colored stripes and squares may appear.
The MCTV-855 antenna, thanks to the LTE filter, cuts out unwanted signals above 790 MHz, and thus is resistant to the above-described interference from the LTE network.
The antenna is equipped with an additional dipole, which allows to receive VHF channels, thanks to which it is possible to receive the 170-230MHz band, which will allow to receive MUX 8, on which new programs are broadcast and digital radio DAB+.
