CONSTRUCTION
Kendama is made of two main parts, connected with each other by a string.
The shaft, i.e. KETNA and balls with a hole - TAMA.
KEN consists of arms and a spitz (SPIKE).
The arms are ended with recesses (one smaller, the other larger) called CUPS (SMALLCUP and BIGCUP).
The bottom of the shaft also has a recess (BASECUP), it is the smallest of all.
There are 4 stallpoints on the KET and, like CUPS, they are used to perform various tricks.
The ball has a hole, thanks to which we can place it on the spike (SPIKE) or balance it on STALLPOINTS.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
The game consists in performing various tricks and combinations, and the sequence should end with the so-called SPIKE.
