K-1 2E magnetic detector
Magnetic detectors are one of the basic perimeter protection devices. They are used to protect doors, windows, etc., reacting to their opening. The K-1 2E detector is designed for surface mounting by screwing it to e.g. a window frame or doorframe. The K-1 2E consists of two watertight parts: a reed (magnetic) sensor and a magnet. When one part is moved away from the other, the sensor circuit is opened, which is signalled as a violation. In addition, the detector is equipped with 2 1.1 k resistors connected to the reed switch in a 2EOL configuration. These enable the control panel to detect detector tampering by observing resistance changes on the input line.
The K-1 2E is suitable for use with any control panel equipped with NC inputs, as well as in automation systems as a control element.
The K-1 2E detector is available in two colour versions: white (K-1 2E) and brown (K-1 2E BR).
