The Dahua IP camera IPC-HFW3249E-AS-LED-0280B is equipped with a 2MP 1 / 2.8 CMOS image sensor, which provides high resolution in low light. It has a 2.8mm focal length lens and Full Color technology, which guarantees images with vivid colours even in very difficult lighting conditions. IPC-HFW3249E-AS-LED-0280B can classify and detect vehicle and human. It supports SD card storage.

The Dahua IP camera IPC-HFW3249E-AS-LED-0280B has an IP67 water and dust protection rating, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. The IPC-HFW3249E-AS-LED-0280B camera uses Smart H.265+ & Smart H.264+ encoding technology, which provides higher encoding performance than H.265 and H.264, guarantees high quality video and reduces storage and transmission costs.

SMART IR

Smart IR ensures clear and optimally illuminated images even in low ambient light conditions. This function allows automatic adjustment of the IR light intensity. This function allows the user to change basic image parameters such as contrast, exposure and brightness. The signal processor continuously analyses the image and reduces the IR illuminator power immediately after detecting overexposure. Thus, the image becomes clearer and overexposure disappears.

BLC:

The BLC function eliminates the effect that occurs when the camera is pointed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. The compensation consists in brightening of the foreground, unfortunately also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. In general, the function improves the image quality.

3D DNR:

3D DNR analyses individual frames and analyses the differences between successive video frames to adjust pixels and increase image fidelity. 3D-DNR reduces noise to a greater extent, but has the disadvantage of tending to create blurring of moving objects. Its main application is in relation to static areas of the observed space.

HLC:

The HLC function detects image points that are strongly illuminated and then masks them allowing effective observation. The HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground car parks. It allows you to read license plate numbers that are obscured by "bright spots" from headlights.

WDR:

Wide Dynamic Range extended dynamic range. Allows you to extend the capabilities of the BLC backlight compensation system. Cameras with WDR function are equally useful outdoors as in indoor systems. They eliminate the problem of the camera being blinded by a strong light source, e.g. in sunny places or when the camera is supposed to monitor a room and is placed opposite a window. WDR equalizes the lighting, so it allows both brightening dark parts and darkening excessively bright areas of the image.

Full Color Technology:

This function provides images with vivid colours even in very difficult lighting conditions. An F1.0 aperture fixed lens and a high-grade photosensitive sensor allow the camera to capture detailed images in low light. This allows more light to enter the lens, which increases the brightness of the image and makes it possible to capture full colour images with a brightness and clarity never before seen in CCTV systems. An important note is that this technology does not work in completely dark environments.

SMD Plus:

SMD Plus, referred to as Smart Motion Detection Plus is an upgraded version of SMD that significantly improves alarm accuracy by using a deep learning algorithm. It analyses person silhouettes and vehicle shapes based on motion detection and only sends alarms when a person and vehicle enter the detection zone. The function is activated by selecting SMD or IVS&SMD in AI mode.
