INT-GSM is a GPRS communication module which enables INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus series alarm control panels to communicate via GSM network. The device operates on the control panel keypad bus.
It supports two SIM cards, through which it can simultaneously receive messages and incoming calls. All GPRS transmissions are encrypted in the AES-192 standard.
INT-GSM monitors events to two monitoring stations (e.g. security agencies) via the GSM network. It uses GPRS and SMS messages for this purpose, with the possibility of setting a priority for each of the mentioned transmission paths.
Event notifications are created automatically on the basis of the control panel's event memory record. The module transmits information in the form of SMS messages or by means of CLIP service (to up to 16 numbers), and in case of cooperation with the INTEGRA Plus control panel, also by e-mail messages (to up to 16 addresses). After installing the INTEGRA CONTROL mobile application, e.g. on a smartphone, PUSH notifications are available.
INT-GSM cooperation with INTEGRA/INTEGRA Plus control panels opens access to remote system control with the use of:
- INTEGRA CONTROL application (GPRS)
- SMS messages
- Cost-free CLIP service
- GUARDX application (GPRS).
A great advantage of INT-GSM is the possibility of cooperation with the ETHM-1 Plus Ethernet module (RS-485 connection). By default, GPRS is a backup communication channel for Ethernet. This duo allows the implementation of Dual Path Reporting, in accordance with the EN 50136 standard, as well as the prioritisation of event monitoring tracks (Ethernet, GPRS and SMS).
Communication via the GSM network enables a wireless connection between the control panel and a computer with DLOADX and GUARDX programs installed, and thus allows the system to be configured and managed even from a remote location. Connection between the module and the computer can be made through the SATEL connection setup service.
The module's software is updated via the RS-232 port or remotely, via GPRS, using the UpServ software.
