The patented MS-316 Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool is designed to provide easy access to fiber optics in external shields and buffer tubes.
Building on the popularity of the Jonard Tools MS-6 and MS-26 cutting tools for mid-span fibers, we have introduced a ring function to the tool to make it even more versatile.
- Consists of 5 precision notching grooves and 5 precision annular grooves ranging in size from 2.9 mm to 6.8 mm
- One side of the tool makes radial/annular cuts and the other side cuts the cable (slitting)
- Compact 74 gram design with attached mounting hole makes it ideal for use in tight spaces or on the go
- A line indicating on the top of the device indicates the position of the blade for accurate cutting
- Replaceable blade kit available, part number: MS-316RB
