Hermetic boxes are widely used in surface-mounted installations, in particular in outdoor installations where a high degree of protection is required.
The family of hermetic cans consists of 45 versions differing in dimensions, construction or equipment and the method of inserting wires into the inside of the box.
They are characterized by a simple construction consisting of a base and a can cover. The base is available in three varieties: a version with choke weakenings, a version without weakening and a version with fixed flexible glands that act as cable pass-throughs adapted to various wires.
Another element included in the "PH" can is a lid in two heights. Both elements are connected together by screws made of plastic, which ensures a reliable and corrosion-resistant connection. The box is equipped with a hermetic seal ensuring the tightness against dust and a high degree of IP protection. In addition, as an insulating element, plugs were used, which protect protruding fastening elements from electrical parts in the box. The box can be additionally equipped with a terminal block, mounting plate or eurorail. The "HERMET box" series also includes round installation boxes "PO" most often used in single-phase installations. They come in three sizes and are equipped with flexible cable pass-throughs. These boxes have a clamping cover that allows quick and convenient multiple ways of opening and closing the can. Protection against moisture is provided by a high degree of protection IP 44.
