The HDMI Type-C connector is designed for mobile devices. It is much smaller than the Type A connector but I have an identical configuration of 19 pins but the signal is not assigned to the same pins. This is due to shielding requirements. The difference is that all plus signals from pairs are swapped with screens suitable for pairs. The masses are also swapped. To connect a Type-C device to a Type-A device, simply use an HDMI Type A to HDMI Type C cable or an HDMI Type A to HDMI Type C adapter and a standard HDMI cable.

HDMI allows you to connect any standard-compliant audio/video device such as DVD players, Blu-ray disc players, game consoles, computers, monitors and digital TVs. Video data is transmitted using TMDS technology.
The most important feature of the HDMI interface developed in 2000-2002 is that it allows connection between individual audio/video devices using one cable, while maintaining the highest quality of transmitted image and sound and full functionality of the devices used, which at the same time significantly facilitates the wiring of a home audio/video system. This is a huge simplification compared to the connections used so far, which require a wide range of different wires. The technology is characterized by high image and sound quality and the ability to transmit images in very high resolution.
