Neuroshima Hex is a strategy board game taking place in a post-apocalyptic world controlled by mutants and Thoroch's absolute machines. Each player commands one of the army, which consists of units, modules and action tokens that are lined up on the hexagonal battlefield.

Each army consists of 35 tokens, which consist of units and special actions tokens. Units are placed on the board, on any field not occupied by another token. Each of them has a sign informing whether it is a firing or melee unit as well as an initiative (value from 0 to 3). The token also has symbols indicating the strength and the directions it attacks. Some units have special abilities, for example. A chopper can block the operation of a neighboring unit, others can attack twice, some have mounted armor, etc. Symbols are few, they are legible and it is easy to catch them, you do not even need to know them especially before the game. Chips contain special battle tokens that you can play to start the fight. Momenct resolving the battle is very impressive, many units are killed, completing before death one more, lethal attack. Good set-up of units and their cover and protection of the base are very difficult, so often units are sent to suicide missions, only to take one more point from the opponent's base.
