A new game by Klemens Kalicki, the author of the popular family game Domek!
Experienced nature observers bravely traverse the area in search of plants, animals and various curiosities. They are happy to use their knowledge - in the meadows, among the grasses, they are able to spot small rodents, and since they are here, perhaps in a moment a buzzard, a fox or even a viper will appear!
Meadow is a board game in which we play the role of wanderers observing nature. Equipped with a map, we walk around the picturesque surroundings, looking for inspiration and capturing breathtaking views. We are guided by passion and curiosity of the world, but also by the competition for the title of the most skilled observer of nature! It will go to the one who scores the most points from the observed species of animals and plants, landscapes and souvenirs collected from the hike. The struggle also takes place by the fire, where players outdo each other in achieving the goals of their expeditions.
What does it involve?
During the game, participants take turns placing trail tokens on one of the two boards. Using the main board allows you to get cards, but playing them requires meeting certain conditions. In turn, the use of the focus board activates special actions that help in the implementation of individual strategies and gives the opportunity to achieve goals for which we will receive additional victory points.
During the game, players collect ground cards (habitats of animal life), observation cards (specific species observed during the hike), landscape cards and finds (views and interesting souvenirs from expeditions) on their meadow and surroundings. The winner will be the one who scores the most points in the acquired sets of cards and on the focus board.
