80 Days
As in the original novel, the British capital of London is the starting and ending point of the exciting journey in 80 Days. Following in the footsteps of the English gentleman Phileas Fogg, you can travel from city to city in a fun way by ship, train or balloon. Unfortunately, travel costs are constantly rising, so free rides are in high demand to save valuable coins. Stormy weather, broken tracks, poor visibility and customs checks constantly pose new challenges to the round-the-world round. Helpful luggage can be purchased in a boutique or at a bazaar - or on the black market. Of course, if you have enough money, because just like travel costs, prices are constantly rising in all areas of the market. It is equally important to pack well and save space, because each suitcase on personalized character boards only has a certain capacity.
Along the way, numerous adventures await you, which you must master to expand your personal travel journal and collect valuable victory points for your final score. Fast travel around the world takes approximately 50 minutes until you can enter London after completing at least four adventures.
The double-sided game board provides plenty of variety with constant new challenges, even with repeated play. A simpler version of the game is possible, but especially experienced travelers can use the Assistants module for active support and additional options.
