- The picture book is full of ideas for games to practise the finger-pointing gesture.
- Do the tasks together: you start and show what needs to be done. Then encourage your child to imitate you.
- If necessary, help him and guide his pointing finger or hand.
- When doing the exercises, remember the correct direction to follow: from left to right and from top to bottom.
- While playing, talk to your child. The idea is for the toddler to hear sounds, words and sentences and, over time, be able to repeat them.
- Reading and playing together is a great way to build a relationship with your child.
