External enclosure ePoint2 EPNT-2 for router with antenna Poynting XPOL-2-5G 4x4 LTE (MIMO), 2x2 Wi-Fi (MIMO) 11 dBi
Poynting presents a completely new range of antenna enclosures, the ePoynt series. ePoynt enclosures are designed to fit a variety of modules, routers, transforming the antenna housing into indoor equipment (CPE) – just add your own LTE/5G router. The ePoynt enclosure can accommodate routers up to 185 x 145 x 45 mm. The ePoynt-2 (EPNT-2) antenna housing uses the world-famous Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) technology from the XPOL-2-5G antenna. It provides a polarized, unidirectional, high-gain antenna that provides broadband coverage from 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 3800 MHz, making it ideal for LTE and 5G deployments.
EPNT-2 contains four polarized cellular antennas, two unidirectional antennas with a peak gain of 11 dBi and two omnidirectional antennas with a peak gain of 5 dBi. This makes it ideal for 4x4 MIMO or dual 2x2 MIMO routers. EpNT-2 also includes two omnidirectional dual-band Wi-Fi antennas that cover the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bands and 5 to 6 GHz for 2x2 MIMO. Combining our XPOL-2-5G one-way antenna with a world-class router delivers exceptional performance and increased data throughput. The EPNT-2 housing has also been designed to withstand adverse weather conditions, making the antenna waterproof and resistant to weather conditions with IP65 protection.

Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR) VSWR is a measure of how efficiently radio frequency power is transmitted from a power source through a transmission line to a load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to a VSWR ratio of 1:1. EPNT-2 provides excellent performance in all bands with VSWR 2:1 or better in 90% of bands
Gain in dBi11 dBi is the peak gain in all bands from 698 to 3800 MHz
- 698 – 960 MHz: 8.5 dBi
- 1710 – 2700 MHz: 9 dBi
- 3400 – 3800 MHz: 11 dBi
Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR) VSWR is a measure of how efficiently radio frequency power is transmitted from a power source through a transmission line to a load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to a VSWR ratio of 1:1. The EPNT-2 Wi-Fi antenna provides excellent performance on all bands with VSWR ≤ 2.5:1 in 90% of the bandwidth.
