A device for removing ticks is useful in any home.
- Reusable
- Two hook sizes
- Remove the tick quickly and painlessly
- Do not squeeze the tick (specially profiled)
- Random hook color
This is a simple, reliable and safe tool for removing ticks, developed by veterinarian, Mr. Denis Heitz.
Directions for use:
The hook is made of a handle and two cloves that slide between the skin and the tick (as close as possible to the skin).
To twist the parasite, you need to lift the hook very slightly and twist the handle 2-3 times. The operation takes only a few seconds and requires only the use of a disinfectant after removing the tick.
When removing a tick, DO NOT:
- pull it out by pulling it out (the risk of leaving parts of the tick's body in the skin that can cause pain, inflammation or infections)
- squeeze (the risk of introducing arachnid saliva or injecting intestinal contents along with pathogens into the victim's body)
- stew with fat, spirit, ether, etc. or burn (risk as above)
Ticks should be twisted!
Hooks are made of polymer resin, non-consumable and non-breaking.
There are two hooks in the package:
- large - for ticks of large size
- small - for small and for use in hard-to-reach places (e.g. ears).
