The DGS-1008P is a layer two switch. The device has a table of MAC addresses with a capacity of 4000 items and a buffer with a capacity of 192 KB. With Auto MDI-MDIX support for Ethernet, you can connect both straight and interlaced cables to the switch. Four of the sockets are powered by PoE. Support for PoE (Power over Ethernet) function allows you to transfer electricity via twisted pair RJ-45 cable to the device. This allows you to power devices such as wireless access points, IP network cameras or phones directly from network cables. The DGS-1008P is equipped with gigabit ports for high-speed data transfer and D-Link Green technology to effectively save power when the switch is not in use. Its fanless design makes it completely quiet, making it ideal for offices, libraries and conference rooms.
