Magnetic detectors can be used wherever there is a need to control the condition of doors, windows or other moving elements, e.g. to protect or control access to specific objects, rooms, devices, automation systems, etc.
The detector element containing the magnet should be mounted on the moving part, while the reed switch should be mounted on the stationary part of the protected door, window, etc. The sensor is designed for face mounting in materials such as wood or plastic
The magnet must be within range of the reed switch (see specifications)The displacement of the axis of the magnet and reed switch in cylindrical sensors should not exceed 10mm
