PSF STEELOX cutting disc for steel and stainless steel processing
Material: corundum (A 24, A 46, A 60), fiber-reinforced synthetic resin binder, good cutting properties and very high durability. No added fillers containing iron, chlorine and sulfur compounds. Standard hole 22.23 mm.
Application: for machining steel and stainless steel. For cutting thin sheet metal, profiles, making breakthroughs. Thin cutting discs (0.8 mm thick) for the highest precision and cutting quality, blades (1.0-1.9 mm) optimally suitable for fast, comfortable burr-free cutting, 2.4 mm and 2.5 mm wide blades for universal cuts.
Important tip for stainless steel processing.
When processing stainless steel , it is recommended to use tools that do not contain iron and sulfur compounds. Tools previously used for machining ordinary steel are not suitable for machining stainless steel. On the tool remain the remnants of ordinary steel. These residues damage any type of stainless steel alloy and can corrode the stainless steel workpiece. Even sparks generated during the processing of normal steel can destroy stainless steel alloys and corrode them.
