Pocket-Leptoscope® Fe
Design: portable layer thickness gauge in pocket format with backlit large display, can also be read in the inverted position. With integrated spring-loaded probe, factory calibrated, more than 10 languages to choose from, measurement system switched to μm, mm, miles and inches. Black ABS plastic device. Dimensions 46 x 95 x 16 mm, weight 70 g. Delivery with AAA/LR03 battery, 1.5V, in a plastic case.
Measuring range:
• NFe measurement: 0 to 1200 μm
• Fe measurement: 0 to 3000 μm
Measurement uncertainty (after calibration):
• for layers > 100 μm: 1 % ± 1.5 μm
• for layers 100-1200 μm: 1-3 % ± 1 μm
• for > 1200 μm layers: 3–5 % ± 1 μm
Application: for precise thickness measurement of layers of paint, varnishes, plastics, rubber, chromium, copper, zinc, anodised aluminum on metal.
