The black surface was obtained thanks to the unique process of firing cast iron in vegetable oil at a very high temperature. The surface has been additionally oxidized, which reduces susceptibility to rust. It is recommended to periodically preserve the pot by lubricating the entire surface with a thin layer of edible oil.
